Dear friends,

I would like to congratulate you for the magnificent action you deployed in West-Mongolia. I really would like you to get the financial contributions that will allow you to establish yourself over here.

I would like to reiterate the expression of my congratulations and my very friendly consideration,

Patrick Chrismant, French ambassador in Mongolia, 27 April 2009.

The action: the kindness: the Love that Actions Mongolie brings to Mongolian population. The persons who work in this association are like the stars in the sky, which protect the Mongolians and allowed some of them to get back their sight.

It is in these words that the association was thanked by Bayerty (actor of the film Urga), during the party of November 5th 2005.

Hello,

I watched the DVD twice: it is magnificent! The beauty in an unpretentious life, in fact, it is hard to find the proper words…

Hello,

I watched the DVD: I found it really great! No airs, people who look “true”, an audacious mission, very low means and a very touching result. How can you not have feedback??? I am going to submit this story to other media outlets.

Eva, Journalist.

Dear Sir,

First of all, all my congratulations for the great work you have realised: these 26 minutes are very explicit about the working conditions in Ulgii and they are emotive. I hope you will spread it enough to gain enough funds (…). Can I relate this story on the embassy’s website?

Nicolas Chapuis, French ambassador in Mongolia, 2005

Dear Sir,

I can only encourage you for the action you are leading towards this extraordinary country that is Mongolia. During many years, ACF opened the way for the humanitarian action in this country. A “moral” sponsorship from me is acquired even if I unfortunately cannot turn it into participation, even symbolic.

Jean-Christophe Rufin, then president of Actions Contre la Faim

Sir,

I have been really touched by your project, I sincerely thank you for the help you bring to the population of my country (…) I would like to thanks you for the trust you are according to me. Your offer of becoming the sponsor of your project is a real honour to me (…) I am in Mongolia during August to prepare for the releasing of my film: I would be very delighted if we could meet in Ulaan Baatar.

Byambasuren Davaa, directress of “The story of the weeping camel”

Among the bonuses of the DVD, we can find a documentary about Actions Mongolie, humanitarian association sponsored by the directress. The opportunity to “travel” in a more concrete way in touch with the daily problems of the inhabitants. It is about a medical mission aiming at operating on a few patients affected by cataracts. Even without a direct connection with the main story of the film, this documentary fascinates, by the determination of the main characters. And for those who want to know more about the film itself, an interview with the film maker is available…

Monsieur Cinema, about the DVD release of “The cave of the yellow dog”

I was really emotive about the film you sent me, even more because the eye problems are affecting me particularly… I will explain later. The sequence where you put Dogora in the background music has particularly “finished” me! I really thank you and congratulate you for your great work!

Etienne Perruchon, composer
